About Nigel Media

Seacoast NH-based Nigel Media LLC was founded in Boston, MA in late 2005 under the name Neopop Productions. The partnership was formed as a means of producing interactive Flash presentations and online visual media. It was founded by partners Neil G Larson (project management, web production, creative direction) and Man Mai (senior Flash development, lead design).

In 2006 Neopop emerged into a full-scale media firm, creating four unique interactive Flash-based presentations and one fully-scripted educational video, with directors, camera operators and hired actors.

By mid-2007 the firm began integrating more 'standard' web media, including HTML, CSS and PHP site designs. At this point Neopop Productions officially changed its name to Nigel Media LLC.

Our sites are built using the following scheme: Nigel Media will provide two or three jpg mock-ups for your choice. Upon approval, we move forward with one particular design, initiate site functionality and provide progress reports on a weekly basis. Interactive Flash Presentations

Upon its founding, Nigel Media was devoted exclusively to the creation of Interactive Flash Presentations. Our company concept was a site presentation that allowed the user to learn information, engage in online quizzes and games; and enjoy featured artwork, motion graphic designs, and entertaining voiceover narrations.

Our acclaimed work with not-for-profit study-abroad agency CIEE put us on the map in 2006.

Our continued relationship with CIEE has yielded numerous interactive projects, including a narrated photo-based sequence with a built-in quiz function, to educate exchange students about Customer Service principles; to a fully-scripted, acted and directed video project aimed at educating overseas students about sexual behavior and morals in the United States. Video Productions

Our dedicated staff uses HD cameras, with professional lighting and sound equipment to capture the best quality possible. We also have a post-production staff for video-editing and audio mastering. Our team has worked fluidly as casting agents, script-writers, and set designers. We hold a professional mantra about our video-production process and place a strong emphasis on efficiency and follow-through. Graphic Design

Our team holds experience with all graphic design work from logo creation to landscape design to 3D character modeling. Most recently we have created mock renditions of AirToons, for a tutorial aimed at educating students about health and safety.

Print Production

Nigel Media has experience with advertisement / brochure development and print production. Nigel Media staff draw upon their marketing experience as well as graphic design training and skills to create effective and eye-catching visual presentations. Professional Audio

Nigel Media's founder Dr Nigel (Neil G. Larson) operates as our exclusive sound engineer. He holds a degree from University of Rochester / Eastman School of Music where he studied film scoring, digital sound, orchestration, world music, and electronic composition. Dr Nigel has been running an audio business since 2001, and has worked with clients including Microsoft, Dell, Adobe, MTV, Nickelodeon; as well as numerous bands and DJs. Dr Nigel Audio is the primary source for Nigel Media's post-production audio work.
